Clinic 4th of July BBQ

If you didn't know already, I work for a doctor's office doing medical transcription. I do it all from home, which is WONDERFUL!!


We had a 4th BBQ today, actually it was more of a Mexican BBQ with BBQed beef strips, rice tortillas, the whole spread. Nikki makes the best Guacomole!!!! We are always looking for a reason to celebrate with food.

Pregnancy

I have decided to enjoy my last pregnancy. Even though I admit, I always want to be pregnant and then when I am, I hate it. So I am convincing myself that I LOVE IT.
I never took pictures of myself with my other babies and I kind of regret it. Though at the time that is the last thing I want is my fat picture taken.
So here goes, I am posting my monthly belly shots (for now at least).

HOORAY WE HAVE GRASS

Well we got our curbing in yesterday (it looks so awesome I love it). Sod arrived today and me, Steve, Steve's dad and two high school boys that Steve hired laid it. My job was cutting and piecing, pretty easy work but my fingers are really sore tonight.

I LOVE IT. It is so nice to look out my office window and see green grass. Supposedly we are suppose to stay off of it for about 10 days. Me and the girls are going to my moms in McCammon for the rest of the week and weekend so the girls (and myself) won't be temped to go and roll around in it.

Happy Anniversary to Me and Steve

Today is our 5th anniversary. I actually just remembered 2 days ago. Luckily it wasn't 2 days later. Steve is the good one about remembering special occasions. I (embarrassingly) will admit that I tend to forget. It must be my busy life (right??)

Well we were married in Parma Idaho at Steve's Parents house in 2003. We applied for a temple marriage (Steve had been married in the temple before and a man has to get special permission to remarry in the temple again). He was denied and had to wait 6 months to apply again. We decided it would be best not to wait.

A year later, July 2004 we were sealed in the Boise Idaho Temple. We hosted a Gunter family reunion at the cabin that week and so unfortunately we were not terribly dressed up for the occasion.

I'm not sure what the day will bring for us, but I do have a hair appointment today so I will be all ready for a hot date to celebrate our 5 years of fabulous marriage.

First part of SPRING BREAK-EASTER

Well we had parent teacher conferences for Shya on the 19th. Shya is doing awesome in school!!! Wednesday was also the last day of school for students. Steve had to go on Thursday until 9 at night but then was off for Spring Break. So our activities so far have consisted of....Rob and Carrie, Britton, Breckin and Malia showed up at our house at 3:30in the morning Friday morning. They drove all night. I still taught aerobics Friday morning as usual came home and we pretty much did absolutely nothing but chill all day Friday. Hopefully Rob, Carrie and their fam were not completely bored out of their minds. WE did go out to dinner Friday night in Nampa. It took us 1 hour to figure out where we were going to eat (you know so many decisions when you go into a big town)!!!

Saturday we were a little bit more adventurous Rob and Steve took the kids to the hot pots out by the damn while me and Carrie went to Wal-Mart and Jo-Anns.





Next we took the girls to the Primary Activity. They had lots of fun they played games and then had an easter egg hunt!!

We rented 4 movies and watched movies the rest of the night. It was great!!
And..............Today is EASTER, Happy Easter everybody!!!
Of course we went to church, had a nice dinner and Carrie made scrumptious lemon bars. MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

After Rob and Carried left, Me, Steve and the girls packed up our easter eggs and headed over to Margies. We had an easter egg hunt in her back yard and visited with her and the girls played in the yard (since we don't have any grass yet we have to borrow hers). Let's see what tomorrow and the rest of Spring Break brings for us. I'll keep you posted..

TODAY IS HUMPY DAY

Wednesday, you know the middle of the week? Hump day? Over the hump? Come on guys you know what I mean.
Well yesterday was a great and busy day, although now that I think about it I really didn't do a whole lot. Did a lot of vaccuming. Mopped, went to town to get my oil changed. Bought a new book at Wal-Mart, Folded the left over laundry from Monday. Ally went to preschool, Zoey went to visit Margie for a couple of hours while I went to town BY MYSELF!!!!! WOW!! I got a call from the school, Shya was sick with a tummy ache, had to go pick her up, came home, gave Zoey a nap, finished my typing. Gawked at everybody I could think ofs blog, then it was time for Pian lessons. I teach piano lessons on Tuesdays. I only have 4 students including my own. Jenna, Angela, Shya and Ally. After Piano, I had visiting teachers, and then Shya vomited all over Zoey's bed so we had to clean that up. Since I had my vaccum out I decided to dust the cobwebs from my ceilings. One thing led to another and before I realized it Steve was home and it was time for dinner. And oh shoot, the groceries were still out in the car. I did get a quick jog and then a nice hot bubble bath while reading my book. I'm so glad today is HUMPY DAY!!!!

Our New home

Welcome to our Blog.
We are living in Nyssa Oregon, a small town over the border from Parma Idaho, about 45 miles from the big town of Boise and about 15 miles from Ontario Oregon. We are barely out of city limits, and have 1 acre, we can enjoy the country but still close to our huge town.
We just finished building our home and were able to move in November. We worked on it all Summer long. I did the painting inside and out. Steve did the plumbing (with the help of dad), electrical and lots of gopher work for our builder. The girls helped as well. I had a ton of help painting!!!!
